Ariel Veteran TT Single Speed |
||
| Ariel - Single Speed (veteran sports bike) | Ever since my ride on a 1912 Ariel single speed veteran I've had my eyes open for one. They don't come up that often but if you have one for sale or know someone who might be thinking of selling, please let me know. There are a few 'die hards' who ride them all over the place and whilst I'm still young and healthy (and will be for a long time touch wood) I'd like to get one now rather than when I'm eighty. | |
| This is the one that I sampled. |

Ariel 1930 Model G |
||
| Any special model G parts (flange track carb, chrome tank, hand change parts, type 10 engine parts etc...). I am nuts about these bikes and am always interested in any period photos, parts or any other information. | ||
| AMAC/AMAL Type 10 Track Carb This seems to be the AMAC track type which AMAL took over and marketed as their own track carburettor and has the air slide mounted on the side of the carburettor body. The parts book lists this as a type 4598 but I can’t find any reference to that number in the AMAL literature. I’m told that this carburettor is... Amac 10 MD 1 3/32” carb with an Amal float chamber. This is the only information that I have. See photos for clearer detail
of most of a carb. |

Wanted : Front wheel hub for a 1927 Royal Enfield
351. This hub is 5" diameter. Ideally I'd like one complete with brake
giblets. The number of spokes is... 40 The hub width is very approximately.... 9cm (the distance between the fork blades is more) The bearings are cup and cone type. This brake changed the following year (1928) to a different type which I think had later type bearing races? |

Petrol tap with filter. I think that this was made by Enots but am not 100% sure. The tap shown is from a 1925 Royal Enfield 350. (The filter is a gauze inside the wide unscrewable cylinder)

Does anyone know of a source of these control lever bolts? I have found them on early 1920s control levers and on the handlebar clips used for gas headlight brackets. If anyone has a box of these or is having any made up please let me know.

Wanted : These nipples are stamped 'Rotherhams Coventry' and they rotate to reveal a hole into which lubricant is applied. These used on mid 20s Royal Enfield girder forks.

Wanted : 'Hints & Tips - Royal Enfield 3.46 H.P. Motor Cycle'. There are many hints and tips books published by Royal Enfield but the one that I'm looking for is from the mid 1920's period which covers the models 350 and 351.
| 1926 Ariel illustrated sales catalogue. | I'm looking for one of these if it's not too expensive. Also the AOMCC is looking for a high resolution colour scan of this catalogue. I'm generally interested in 1926 Ariels just in case you have a garage full of spare parts. | |
